About VOKRA
Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) is a no-kill, non-profit, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland.
VOKRA coordinates rescues with other groups in B.C. and work with over 100 foster homes for orphaned kittens and cats. They run many regular programs, one of which is the trap-neuter-return program where feral cats are humanely trapped, neutered or spayed, and then returned to their colonies with ongoing care and monitoring by VOKRA volunteers.
VOKRA was established in 2000 and is rapidly growing every year. They are run entirely by dedicated volunteers, generous donations, and bequests. Please join us in supporting this wonderful organization.
